Shows

Ramsay Media have launched a series of successful shows and events. Over the past four years, I have been instrumental in building the Cape Getaway Show and evolving the Gauteng Getaway Show into a bigger and more successful event.

 

  • Cape: Over 200 exbitors & 16 000 visitors

  • Gauteng: 300 exhibitors & 24 000 visitors

 

My services

Project management included strategic vision and planning for each show, securing sponsorship and delivering a value proposition, overseeing stand sales and payments, floor planning and product mix, activities and entertainment, operations and logistics, saftey and security, as well as onsite build-up, show days and break-down.

Wine Events

At first, under the Wine brand and then moving across to Getaway, RamsayMedia own and run various wine competitions, the two biggest and most successfull being the Best Value Wine Competitions and the Green Wine Awards.

 

My services

Project management included securing sponsorship, online call-for-entires to the wine market, collation of entries and preparartion for judging, set-up for blind wine tasting, collated and audited results, published results in a guide, sponsorship benefits, sale of winning wines online and at retail, the awards event, public tasting events, marketing of the competition, PR and more.

Conferences

 

Conferences linked to your brand can be seen as pure brand extensions, an opportunity for the brand to give back to the industry, or even a way for the brand to educate and verse the market in new skills.

 

My services

Whilst the publisher of Getaway, I was instrumental in starting the Getaway Travel & Tourism Conference as well as the Travel Blog Conference. Both are successfull conferences evolving each year. My expertise and skills around conferencing involve the strategic vision, marketing of the events to relevant bases, speaker line-up, program management, event co-ordination and delegate feedback to close the loop.

Clubs

The O Club launched on 14 October 2013 with the intension of converting subscribers into members - a unique publishing model for Associated Media Publishing. The O Club aims to motivate and celebrate a community of women, and inspire each member’s personal best-life journey. The “O” in The O Club represents unity, wholeness and the infinite possibilities that exist for your life if you decide to live meaningfully and with purpose. The power of this circle lies in the way it connects us to ourselves, each other and our broader community.The O Club is a unique brand extension of O, The Oprah Magazine, which is dedicated to community, content, connection and changing the world in your own way.

 

My services

The project involved strategy, project planning around the concept and member benefits, as well as developing the model for the digital acquisition of new members. It included the launch of The O Club at the O You! event with Miss Oprah Winfrey present.
